🚀 About Traggert

At Traggert, we are building a B2B platform for "software-defined" IT rollouts and manufacturing execution. We decouple the central control logic from physical execution, making manual installation and manufacturing processes programmable, asynchronous, and reproducible.

Our platform translates the desired state of a rollout into guided workflows for frontline workers via our "Mobile Edge" app, while automatically triggering hardware configurations via Zero Touch Provisioning (ZTP). We are currently operating successfully with 7 enterprise customers, and we are scaling our architecture to support 10+ major clients. We are looking for driven individuals to help us compete, win, and digitalize the "last meter."

🧑‍💻 The Role

As Founding Engineer, you will be instrumental in taking our platform to the next level of scalability. You will have end-to-end responsibility for features—from fundamental architectural decisions and API design to robust production deployment.

You will bridge the digital gap between the central coordination cockpit, the worker in the field, and enterprise hardware. Your role spans:

📱 The Heart: Mobile Edge & UX (Flutter)

You will develop our multiplatform app with a strong focus on UX and user-centric design.

• Server-Driven UI (SDUI): Transition our app from static pages to a dynamic architecture. You will build a "Widget Factory" where the app acts as a smart renderer, assembling UI components in real-time based on JSON payloads from the backend.
• Release-Independent Workflows: Ensure that highly configurable rollout processes can adapt instantly to different use cases without requiring an App Store update.
• Field Data Collection: Build intuitive inputs for visualizations, checklists, and robust offline/online synchronization.

⚙️ The Motor: Backend & Workflow Engine (Node.js/TypeScript)

You will elevate our backend to handle complex orchestration and hardware integration.

• State Machine & Orchestration: Structure and build our central Workflow Engine using Domain-Driven Design (DDD) principles. This engine evaluates order states in real-time, handles conditional approvals, and orchestrates asynchronous steps.
• Backend for Frontend (BFF): Provide the exact logic and JSON data structures that dictate what the Mobile Edge app should display.
• Hardware Integration: Integrate with enterprise hardware (e.g., Juniper Networks, Palo Alto Networks) for Zero Touch Provisioning.

📊 Command & Management Center

You will help develop the web cockpit for the central coordination team.

• Tailored Dashboards: Build data-intensive, customized views (complex tables, Gantt charts, interactive maps) for project planning and live monitoring.
